Kanye West’s most recent divorce attorney has stepped down from the high-profile, ongoing battle between the hip-hop mogul and ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, lawyer Samantha Spector says there has been “an irreconcilable breakdown in the attorney-client relationship” and on Thursday (May 26), has decided to step away.
For now, there are no other supporting details about why Yeezy’s fourth attorney is withdrawing her representation in the case. Going forward, the document states the rapper will be represented by his other lawyer, an out of state attorney from Pennsylvania. However, the person listed is not a divorce attorney, the report notes.

Spector was hired in the midst of Kanye complaining that Kim was keeping his children away from him, The Blast reported in March.
Spector previously represented Dr. Dre’s ex-wife, Nicole Young.
Kanye, 44, is still negotiating finances and permanent custody arrangements, the report notes. With Ye having trouble keeping a lawyer on his side, the favor appears to swing in Kim’s direction.
The two share four kids: North (8), Saint (6), Chicago (4), and Psalm (3).
In March, West’s lawyer Chris Melcher was fired after their relationship “had become extremely difficult with little communication,” according to TMZ.
