One of the mouthwatering questions most of us find difficult to understand is the creation of Heaven and the rumors that it is a place occupied by God, the same person who created it.
It’s a fact many Christians are convinced that God dwells in heaven, a place you and l can’t tell it’s exactly location but they also believe it is somewhere beyond the blues.
Meanwhile unbelievers ridicule this thesis, describing it as a blatant illusion but that won’t clearly change the mindset of people who believe in it.
To be sincere the belief of Christians that God dwells in heaven is not based on their personal biased assumptions, but rooted in holy biblical passages.
Several books titled as the Bible quoted several prophetic voices as stating that God is in heaven, when we take the New Testament for example, Jesus Christ emphatically stated on several occasions that God dwelt in heaven.
In his teaching on the mountain, the Lord Jesus Christ according to those who wrote the Bible exhorted His disciples saying, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven”. Then in Matthew 5:9, while teaching His disciples how to pray, Jesus Christ said, “Pray then like this: Our Father in heaven”
As much as we do not want to doubt any writings of the biblical books, the confusion moment points at Genesis 1:1 which has the The opening verse saying “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
Now, this comes the highly debatable question that many asks, “if God is the one who created the heavens, then God has never been said to love any other place aside Heaven which he still is now, then where was God living or dwelling before He created the heavens?
