The American Music Awards took place hours ago and it’s a massive win for Nigerian Star Wizkid.

His hit single Essence off his made In Lagos Album has managed to earn him a victory at the American Music Awards.

Essence which featured fellow Nigerian singer Tems won the category of Favorite R&B song.

Meanwhile Wizkid also emerged victorious in the Category of the Afrobeat Music Artist in the same awards ceremony.
