Ecuador has defeated Host Nation Qatar in the Opening game of the FIFA 2022 World Cup.
The 2022 World cup kickoff in Qatar today with the Asian Side taking on South American giants Ecuador.
It wasn’t the best of an opener the host nation would have preferred when they go down as early as 4 Minutes into the game.
Fans however were in Joyous mood when the goal was ruled Offside but it didn’t take long before Ecuador took a deserving lead via an Enner Valencia Spot kick.
The former Westham man got his second of the game to make it 2 in Favour of his side heading into the break.
Qatar returned into the second half with a fighting spirit but couldn’t get the equalizer.
