Andy Murray’s wedding ring stolen alongside his Tennis shoes, begs for it’s return to avoid his wife’s trouble

Tennis star Andy Murray is appealing to anyone in possession of his tennis shoes that has his wedding ring tied on it.

The three-time Grand Slam winner, is in California for the Indian Wells tournament but likely to face the wrath of his wife back home after loosing his wedding ring.

Andy revealed he is always tie his wedding ring on his shoes while playing since he can’t have them on his finger during the game.

Unfortunately for him, he has the shoes stolen through what he described as a terrible idea to leave them under his car overnight since they needed some air.

“I decided when I got back to the hotel, the shoes needed some air to dry them out a bit. I don’t have a balcony in my room and I didn’t want to leave them in my room as it would stink the room out.”

‘So I thought I’ll leave the shoes underneath the car to get some air to them and dry them out overnight. When I got back to the car in the morning, the shoes were gone.”

“My tennis shoes for the tournament had been stolen so I had to go to a local pro shop to buy different shoes. Not the end of the world but not ideal.”

As I was preparing for my practice, my physio said to me, “where is your wedding ring?” And I was like “oh no”

“tie my wedding ring to my shoes when I’m playing because I can’t play with it on my hand. So my wedding ring has been stolen as well so, needless to say, I am in the bad books at home so I want to try and find it.”

“So if anyone can share this or have any clue where they may be, it would be very helpful if I could get it back or get to the bottom of it.’ He pleaded

He captioned the post: ‘Yes I know I’m an idiot and in hindsight it seems like a terrible idea but i need some help. What should the reward be for getting it back?’ He followed that with the hashtags #ring #shoes #idiot #help #clown.
