Juventus star, Paul Pogba handed four year ban after being found guilty of doping

French International, Paul Pogba’s football career has hit a new rock after investigation proved that he is guilty of a doping incident that happened last year,

The talented midfielder has now been handed a ban from all football football related activities for four years due to doping.

Paul Pogba, a 30 year old midfielder who is currently under contract with Italian side, Juventus tested positive for testosterone after Udinese-Juventus match on 20th August 2023. He is not allowed to play professional football until 2028.

It is important to know that FIFA’s guidelines for suspensions on players who violate its anti-doping regulations ranges between two and four years.

That however depends on whether it can be proven that the rule violation was intentional which means that Pogba’s suspension is subject to a possible appeal.
