Mendy, Kante, Haaland and Tuchel win big as Chelsea sweep UEFA Awards

Winners of the 2020/2021 season’s UEFA Awards were announced earlier today it was a big win for Chelsea Football Club.

Their Manager, Thomas Tuchel was adjudge Men’s Coach of the year. The German Tactician led Chelsea to Champions League Glory and that became the biggest deciding factor in his triumph.

Still in the Camp of Chelsea, French midfielder N’Golo Kante was also named as the best Male midfielder of the 2020/2021 Champions league season. The player was very instrumental in the Blues Champions League victory.

Senegalese shot stopper Edouard Mendy also from the camp of Chelsea also got his hands on the Best Goalkeeper of the year award.

The overall Best UEFA men’s player of then year was also handed to Italian Midfielder Jorginho who undoubtedly had a spectacular playing an important role in both Club and Countries European success.

Finally a player playing for another club also had the opportunity to grab his hands on one of the awards when Manchester City Star Ruben Diaz emmerged as the Winner of the Defgender of the year Award.

Dortmund Forward Erling Haaland was also reward for his fine season and performance in the Champions League last season withe the Forward of the year award.
