After TT’s Gh8,000 brouhaha, ECG left another veteran Actor, William Addo in darkness over GHC5,000 unpaid bills
The Electricity Company of Ghana ECG has reportedly disconnected power Suply to the house of ailing veteran actor William Addo over huge amount of debt.
The actor himself confirmed that his current residence Tefle in the Volta Region but has to deal with the darkness because he owes ECG a hefty amount of GHS 5,000.
He made this revelation during an interview with Accra based Television, Citi TV earlier this week.
The man popularly referred to as Akpatse during his acting days lament bitterly about struggles he has been through since going totally blind 5 years ago.
“Occasionally, there are other ailments that come into play. Last time, I was rushed to the hospital for cardiac arrest and had to spend 6 days there. It was not easy at all because I almost went (died) just like that” he further said.
He made a public plea through the interview to the public to support him so he can establish a corn-mill business that can genera him income to take care of his medical bills.
