“Beating awaits you for 9ja, we never forget your matter” – Burna Boy fan tells Shatta Wale after SM boss claim he is now a Nigerian

Some Nigerians are quickly reminding Shatta Wale of the time he was saying all the negative stuffs about the Nigerian music industry.

Taking things back to a almost a year ago, it was drama all over social media between Shatta Wale and Nigerians when he boldly used some harsh words on their musicians.

Shatta Wale made the harsh statements during his Freedom Wave concert that took place at the Accra Sports Stadium last year.

His argument was all about how the Ghanain music industry was being dominated by that of Nigerian songs amd call for consumers to put a stop to that.

Fast forward, Shatta Wale is the one supporting Nigerian when some of his colleagues are currently calling for a large percentage of Ghanaian songs on the airwaves this festive season.

The Shatta Movement boss, who is known for his aggressive approach to issues in the music game has gone hard on his colleagues in series of tweets.

It was clear at a point what his intentions were when he declared himself to be a Nigerian. Ain’t the first time he is doing that though.

His claim was met with mixed reactions from social media users including one from a Nigerian who stated emphatically that they know the kind of game he is playing as they haven’t forgotten about the kind of insults he threw at Burna Boy and other Nigerian stars.

“We know your games, we remember what you said about Burna” he wrote

“By force ahohyehy3 dey be you oooo. Some artist i know broke into Nigeria with good music you dey here want to paint ur country black to make Nigerians love you. Nigerians even want Ghana to win na woo wee man a wote Koligono.” Owura Chelsea stated
