Remember a robbery incident that took place on the Apenkwa-Achimota robbery on 20th September 2021? Police are doing everything possible to ensure clarity and has now released a CCTV footage of the incident.
The footage shows how this armed robbers swooped in on motorbikes and blocked its target vehicle before getting off their ride to snatch a bag of money from the frightened woman at gunpoint.
The footage was shared online as progress on investigation the Ghana police was making in relation to a shooting incident that occurred at the Apenkwa Traffic Light on 20th September 2021.
The investigation also revealed that the victim was met at gunpoint by masked men on motorbike whilst returning from the bank with some cash.

The masked men fired some shots at the victim and succeeded in taking away an amount of Twenty-Nine Thousand Ghana Cedis, (GH₵ 29,000.00)
Evidence of a guns fired was also retrieved at the crime scene by the police to aid investigation.
The report also stated that the victim who sustained gunshot wounds was transported to a nearby hospital and is currently responding to treatment.
