Italian Midfielder, Jorginho has been declared as the UEFA Men’s player of the year.
He beat Fellow teammate Kante and Belgian international Kevin De Bruyne to the Ward.
The midfielder had a spectacular season at both club and International Level attracting calls for him to win even the Balloon D’or.
Jorginho was a force in Chelsea’s midfield leading to their European triumph when they beat Manchester City by alone goal in Porto to clinch the club’s second Champions League trophy.
The Italian didn’t stop there, he went on to play an interesting role in Italy’s Euro 2020 triumph cementing his place as the favorite to win the Award.
With the UEFA men’s player of the year award in the bag, Jorginho will be aiming to grab his hands on the World Best Player of the year award too.
