“Winning election is not about running to take pictures with John Mahama” – Haruna Iddrisu fires

Ghana’s minority leader in Parliament, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu has made known to public what it will take the NDC to comeback to power.

It is widely speculated that the MP is one of the big guns in the party that are not in support of their choice of Presidential candidate, former president John Dramani Mahama.

As a result they believe he is not that close to the former ruler like others and not putting much efforts to secure a win for him.

Speaking on Citi TV’s The point view, Haruna made it clear it is not how close one is to the candidate that will secure him a win.

According to him it is rather how hard one works in they’re respective polling stations that will bring the Mahama back to power.

“For persons who love President Mahama and want his return, just as I want, go to your polling stations and make sure he wins, It’s not about running to the flag-bearer John Mahama to take pictures with him that wins elections.” The MP stated
