Wizkid’s Essence featuring Tems becomes first African song to be certified platinum in the United States

Nigerian superstar Wizkid has set another record as he becomes the first African musician to have his song certified Platinum in the United States.

The Song has made over 1 million sales in the United States alone and that is enough evidence of why it deserves to be certified Platinum.

Wizkid recruited felons Nigerian and US born singer Tems on the Popular song that was released in his Made in Lagos Album.

The song titled “Essence” has since become an instant hit making rounds in the entire wold of entertainment and gathering good numbers on various digital platforms.

With his hard work he was able yo break into the United States playlists and constantly receive major Airplays.
