“Argentina vs Italy” Champions of Europe and South America to clash for the new Copa EuroAmerica trophy
Football governing bodies of Europe and South America, EUFA & CONMEBOL have reached an agreement to introduce a new one off game between the two continents.
The game will feature the Champions of Europe And that of South America.
The maiden edition will be a clash between Italy and Argentina scheduled to take place in June 2022 according to reports from both offices.
The game will com with a trophy titled Copa EuroAmerica trophy.
However UEFA and CONMEBOL are yet to come out with a decision on which stadium exactly the game should be held.
Before this announcement, they were rumors the game will be played in Naples a tribute to former Argentine striker Diego Maradona considering his status as a former Napoli player during his playing days in Italy.
