“It’s an idiomatic expression” – John Mahama on why he won’t apologize for his Do or Die Comment

The Former President of the Republic of Ghana John Dramani Mahama has finally responded to calls for him to apologize for his controversial comment.

The NDC leader while speaking in an Interview towards plans for the 2024 General election tagged it as a “Do or Die” affair at the various polling stations.

His comment wasn’t a welcomed one by many Ghanaians who were quick to condemn it and call for him to apologize to and retract the comment.

But according to a report filed by Ghana’s Accra based Television, Metro TV, the former president is not bowing down to any pressure and retract his words.

The report also states Mahama said his comment was an idiomatic expression hence his decision not to retract it.
