Baking soda has both exfoliating and skin lightening properties that may help treat dark elbows.
Method: Add a teaspoon of baking soda into a bowl with water, Keep adding and mixing well until you have a desired amount of product. Then, apply directly to your affected elbows, leave it there for about 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse off Repeat twice per week and avoid it touching your face.
Research has it that, supplements containing citrus fruit extracts are very helpful in lightening dark skin patches due to sun exposure, so this will equally be a good use for your dark knees and elbows.
Method: Squeeze the juices out of the citrus fruit into a cup. Use a cotton ball or wash cloth to apply the juice directly to your elbow. Repeat this process daily.
