Tory Lane’s attorney has come out witj some interesting revelations in the The much-anticipated trial against Tory Lanez in the Megan Thee Stallion shooting which had its opening statements on Monday.
Tory Lanez’s defense strategy was revealed as his attorneys claimed someone else shot Meg that night.
Tory Lanez is accused of shooting Megan Thee Stallion over an argument; however, his attorney claims that the fight was not between Lanez and Meg that night but between Meg and her friend Kelsey Harris over basketball star Ben Simmons. The defense went on to allege that Meg had a history of hooking up with men Harris was seeing and that Ben Simmons was the reason they fought that night, and Harris could’ve fired the weapon out of jealousy and anger.
The prosecution plans to use Kelsey Harris as a witness as she will testify against Tory. Los Angeles County Assistant District Attorney Alexander Bott said, “Kelsey will tell you that she just saw her close friend get shot by the defendant.” NBA star Ben Simmons seemed to respond on social media to his name being brought up in the trial by posting a video of Rick Ross at a wrestling event, yelling, “Accusations. These are false accusations.”
