Thomas Partey nets first goal for Arsenal against Aston Villa

The wait is over, Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has opened his Arsenal goalscoring account.

After battling several injuries and missing games as a result, Partey was thrown into the Starting lineup in their league clash against Aston Villa.

It is a game they must win for the fans and boost their confidence after another poor display Against Aston Villa midweek.

After 22 minutes of play, a well positioned Partey rise above his opponents to power inn a header from a Smith cross to put the Gunners ahead.

The strike is his first ever since joining the London based club in the Summer last year.
