A sad news has hit the family of the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana as his mother has been confirmed dead.
Hajia Mariama Bawumia who happens to be the mother of Mahamudu Bawumia passed away in the early hours of Monday 13th September.
The Ghanaian Vice President broke the news to the public in a Facebook post and revealed she passed away peacefully in Her residence in Accra.
He also announced the burial will take place on Tuesday 14th in her hometown Walewale according to Muslim practices.
