Napoli Star Victor Osimhen has been ruled out for three months after suffering multiple facial fractures.
The Nigerian striker suffered the injury and had to be substituted in his side’s Seria A game against Defending Champions Inter Millan over the weekend.
After tests were run to determine the extent of the injury, it has been confirmed the Striker will be out of action at least for 3 months.
This comes as a bitter blow to Nigeria considering the African Cup Of Nations in Cameroon is set to take place in January which is less than the 3 months the striker will be back in action.
What this means is that Victor will miss the AFCON tournament just when he gradually established himself as his country’s most reliable Striker Currently.
