It was a sad day in the office for Ghanaian international, Andre Ayew when he came on to debut for his new club Le Harve.

The former Swansea City forward was substituted in for his Le Harve debut in the 65th minute of the game but that didn’t go according to plan at all.

Ayew spent just two minutes on the pitch and it all started when he chased down a ball that is heading towards his opponent who was sliding down for it.

Running at a full pace, Ayew managed to jump raising his foot high above his opponent but somehow caught him unintentionally.

The referee had no mercy for the Black stars skipper and sent him off straight to the amazement of his teammates.

The decision to send Ayew off has generated lots of reactions from social media users with a large section stating that the tackle made by Ayew does not warrant a red card.
