Manchester United fell to another defeat in the ongoing English Premier League and this time, it came against Crystal Palace.

The London club travelled to Manchester to face United again, having lost against them three goals to nothing in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

Manchester United were the favourites to emerge victorious yet again but things just couldn’t go as planned for them.

It all started well for the home side until Moroccan international, Sofyan Amrabat conceded a cheap foul against Ghanaian international, Jordan Ayew in the midway into the first half.

That set piece was put into the 18 yard box and Onana did not see the reason to come out and challenge the aerial ball, giving Anderson a chance at the far corner to put his side ahead with a sweet volley in the 25th minute.

United kept pressing for an equalizer but failed to get one, leaving the game to end 1-0 in favor of Crystal Palace.
